LEED Facilitation

The team at YT Enterprises are experts at managing the compliance process for LEED and other IGBC rating projects. With our custom build tracking systems we can ensure that all the documentation required by the assessors is submitted to the IGBC (Indian Green Building Council). In this capacity, we are responsible for registering Green Building Projects with the Indian Green Building Council, submitting all required documentation to them and responding to their requests for clarification.

Our goal is to help our clients obtain a desired status of LEED certification -- green building recognition, while maintaining initial project expectations for quality, delivery cost, and schedule adherence. We will ensure that every stake holder is on-board and is instructed well in advance of what documentation needs to be provided and what they need to do to ensure the relevant criteria for each credit is met. The following is the scope of work under the LEED facilitation:
  • Project registration with the IGBC.
  • Coordinate the design process and help the Owner make informed decisions to resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Oversee the coordination of documentation preparation, collection and collation.
  • Maintaining and expediting the substantial record-keeping task involved in all LEED projects.
  • Carry out all the required energy, lighting, daylighting and HVAC simulations required by a project.
  • Advice on material & resource procurement.
  • Timely submission of documents to the IGBC.
  • Clarifying assessor queries.
  • Overseeing the certification process.
As LEED facilitators, we develop the scope of work for sub-consultants and contractors, then ensure the project earns applicable LEED points required to achieve LEED certified silver, gold or platinum status.

Planning for LEED certification early in the development process helps avoid potentially expensive additional service requests from design consultants and contractor change notices during project delivery.
